Today was great!! I went to a really cool art show at Blonde Grizzly with my friend Natty and it was really inspiring. I talked to the guy who owns the place about get a show there. Hopefully, that will pan out. I also discovered that the super wash on the west side is really really fun to go through, it was an experience to say the least. After running around the town doing all the things I haven't had time for in weeks I returned home. I sold a piece of art and made some cash so the guy came to pick it up. WaaHoo!! After that I went to Capitol City Antique's. HOLY!! That place was amazing I could have spent hours in there. I love old things so much! I found an absolutely brilliant aquatic show magazine that is really old and has such great photos in it. I will be using it to produce some art pieces soon. Tonight I went to sushi with KD and it was delightful, and my belly is full of veggie-tables, and rice. The rest of my evening will be spent finishing the illustrations for the book, the first draft is due tomorrow. Well that's about it....Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for the people in the beautiful country of Japan. Such a tragedy I feel like it's hard to comprehend such a loss.

texture, color, lines, hidden notes, old yellowing paper, stripes, loose bindings........TREASURES!!! I love old books here are some of my finds today. The new books look really great on my shelf, they add more colors to the vertical stripe pattern that's been forming. In other news the shoes came today and they're too small. (K. Dock told me it's cuz I got big hooves) Oh well, guess I have something to look forward to in two weeks. I think a 1/2 size bigger will be the ticket. I have been listening Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings song Nobody's Baby on repeat today. The whole album is a pleasant treat for the ears. Ok, more paper writing must be done.
