Henry.
In Paris France 2003 I saw a man walk up to a black bicycle and hop on. He started pedaling and I heard what sounded like a engine. Sure enough it was an engine. That was the first time I laid my eyes on a moped. Soon after returning from Europe I convinced my boyfriend at the time to buy a Vespa with me. I became completely obsessed with scooters of all kinds. I mostly had a deep love for Old Vespa's and Lambretta's. I spent hours and hours on Ebay and other computer sights researching everything there was to know about these vintage scooters. I bought books about makes and models and even started wearing an army green bomber jacket with a huge patch with a Vespa on the back. Fast forward to August 2010............I had to have a moped I knew a couple guys who rode them and started to talk to them about it. One day Boone (One of the guys with a moped) Contacted me and said he had found one for me to buy. I was sooooooo excited. I ended up going to look at the bike and fell in love. The gut selling it told me he had two and I had to buy them both. This worked out in my favor because I sold one and made a grip of cash to fix my bike up. My friend and I have worked on Henry changing out parts and putting on new cables. Winter came fast and with how busy life has been with school full time and two jobs I haven't ridden him yet. Everyone who sees him is in awe of his uniqueness and well I'm just excited to be his owner. Oh I forgot to mention Henry is a apple red Peugeot 103.

cracks.
They're everywhere......letters galore. Just waiting to be photographed and used to spell things out. For a design project this semester I created the alphabet using cracks/negative space. It turned out to be pretty cool looking and my teacher seemed to like it pretty well. Next I want to find heart shapes in my every day surroundings. Stay tuned for more "found" images.
